Managing complex dependency structures in Jira becomes effortless with Link Manager for Jira.
This page explains how to use the filters, sorting options, table customization, and authorization checks to get clean, accurate, and actionable visibility on all your linked issues.

1.Detailed Filters

Space Filter

What this filter does:
Displays only linked issues belonging to selected Jira Spaces, allowing you to focus on the environments you work with.

Available options:

• All Spaces

• WORK

• Software

• Product

• Service

Spaces also display their space type, helping you clearly distinguish Software, Service, Product, or Work Spaces .

Status Filter

What this filter does:
Display linked issues based on status selected .

Available options (two filtering modes):

1. By Status

Examples:

• In Progress

• QA

• Waiting for Customer

• To Do

• Done
  …and all statuses available in the selected projects.

2. By Status Category

• To Do

• In Progress

Issue Type Filter

What this filter does:

• Shows only the linked issues of selected issue types, useful for focusing analysis on specific work categories.

Available options include:

• Bug

• Story

• Task

• Epic

• Sub-task

• Any custom issue type available in your selected projects

Priority Filter

What this filter does:

• Filters linked issues based on their priority, helping you quickly identify high-impact or urgent dependencies.

Available options:

• Highest

• High

• Medium

• Low

• Lowest Or any custom priority available in your selected projects .

Advanced Filters

• When clicking Advanced Filters, the following options appear:

Warnings

• Show only unauthorized links :

  • Displays links with warnings

  • Perfect for detecting Jira invalid links or incorrect configurations

• Show only unconfigured link types :

  • Shows link types that exist in your project but are not configured in Link Manager

  • Ideal for cleaning and organizing your Jira link hierarchy

Project Scope

• Show only cross-project links :

  • Displays only dependencies that come from other projects

  • Useful for managing Jira cross-project dependencies

2. Table Management & Customization

Refresh Option

What this does:

• Ensures your linked issue data is always up to date.

• Global Refresh : Updates all link-type tables in one click

Reorder Tables

What this does:

• Customize the sequence of link-type tables (show “is blocked by” first).This is ideal for emphasizing the most critical dependency types.

How it works:

• Drag and drop the link types in the order you want → click Save → tables update accordingly.

Customize Columns

What this does:
Allows you to personalize the visible columns so each table shows exactly the information you need.

Common column options:

• Issue Key

• Summary

• Status

• Priority

• Issue Type

• Reporter

• Assignee

• And more depending on your Jira configuration

Add or remove columns to build your preferred view.

Edit Issues Directly

What this does:

• Enables inline editing directly inside the table no need to open the Jira issue view.

You can update fields such as:

• Summary

• Priority

• Status

Delete Issues

What this does:

• Allows you to remove a linked issue directly from the table. A confirmation window ensures safe deletion.

3. Table-Level Filter (Per Link Type)

Each link-type section includes its own dedicated filter, allowing you to refine the displayed linked issues within that specific table.

Available options:

• All : Shows all linked issues.

• Show Only Warning : Displays only issues containing warnings.

• Show Only Authorized : Displays only authorized linked issues.

After choosing your option, click OK to apply the filter.

To reset, click Reset, then OK to return to the default view.
